delamination...

Hi
I am sure this has been asked before, but cannot seem to find it.
Is there an easy way to sort to delamination in the centre of a bat?
I have sorted the toe, but thee is a 2" patch in the middle. Can I use a Stanley knife to open it up to get glue in?
Thanks in advance.

I sent my delaminated Salix to Jake at Vitas and im sure he glued and then clamped the delamination and left it to set whilst clamped up. If I was you id drop him a message as hes done a fantastic job on my bat so I have confidence in him!

There was a gm that had delaminates badly on the hammer cricket/cricket store online twitter page,
He cut the face across the the middle, forced it out at nearly right angles and glued the inside and pushed all back down, then twinned it very tight till dry.
He then added more glue to wear cracks wear on face still, sanded down, and used a full length fibre cover to secure.
It seemed to do a good job. Was a while ago and I can't find the dam pictures now,
