These pads fit beautifully they don't need a specific locator for the knee. All the pads I had when playing from both gray nicholls and chase never had them and they were perfect. I also suffer from sweaty hands when batting and used to go through my gloves but these have been brilliant took a while to get it right but I've not had a problem with them at all in the hot weather last year

what has made the price of gloves go through the roof so?  seems like prices are way higher than they used to be!

I think its materials and of course the wage costs are going up overseas as well. It soon won't be very cost effective to buy from abroad. An opening for someone over here me thinks to start making top quality softs. I would buy them without a doubt if they were top quality and made In the uk.

Made in the UK would have benefits as a label, certainly.  Something that has surprised me the last year or so - pads seem pretty much static but gloves...whoosh...

A lot of work in gloves when you look at all the protection that's got to go in them

The softs looks nice. The gloves have the same design as laver and wood ones launched sometime back.
The one thing i'll be cautious about is the net clothing for the bottom hand glove thumb. That can tear easily. I think usage of regular leather material for the thumb is much better.

Will keep an eye on it but not had any problems with it so far over the last year.we did the first year but we had them make some modifications to them. Even our pro and our ex pros who use them a lot haven't gone through them but thanks for the point
