Glue for handle binding

What glue do people use for binding handles?

Yep just standard pva mate. The whole handle and then once bound put a small amount over the bottom and top of the binding. Job done.

normal pva is a stronger bind than willow fibres, you don't have to spend a fortune on glue just the stuff from primary school we all remember eating as nippers ;-)

Just opening this up again.

PVA glue is best, not the same stuff for fixing bats?

Any from Wilko's, B and Q etc.

Just got my hands on a Blank Bats part made and want to so it right.

Which end of the handle  you start?

STart at the far end of the handle and wrap towards the blade, pull a grip off another bat to make sure you go far enough down, id say you want to be 4 wraps less that the grip depth on the blade
