Similar to the post I put in the 'under £200' thread.

I would go for a Solitaire without a doubt, always produces good performing bats - that are completely handmade in the UK and he does everything himself there. Pressing, handling, shaping, finishing - you name it and his after sales care is fantastic. I've just got back from there myself after getting a bat refurbished and it's looking fantastic.

You can get one of his bats for £125 brand new which will be a Grade 1 or 2, or if you can stretch to £150 he'll be able to sort you out something special in terms of grain structure on the bat.

Usually BDM Dynamics are on a heavier side, around 2.12 plus. Would suit you if you use heavy bats otherwise forum sponsors can sort you out with a decent bat in your budget.

I got a cracking Ton Power Blaster from Asad this week, he is a real star and will point you in the right direction. Can't speak highly enough of the bat or the service offered.

I am glad you liked the bat and it was good to meet up
