A lad at our club has asked me to knock this bat in for him. It's the first I've heard of FH. And wondered if anyone else had? Apparently it's a Sheffield based brand.
Firstly the bat is Indian made(can tell by it being vacuum packed on arrival)
It's English willow, and sold as grade one. Wouldn't give me an actual price but said it was a lot less than £200.
It's a 2.9 so although some concaving, not as much as I'd expect for an Indian made bat.
First impressions, middle is low, but quite large, bat seems very soft and will need a very good knocking in,
Ping from both ball and mallet are impressive though
Handles a little thin for me, but it's round(which I like) and can be easily sorted with a second grip.
Finishing isn't bad either. Pretty impressed tbh for a well priced g1(if it is as cheap as my team mate has made out)
