Wasn't it Graham Thorpe that used to use the original bubble?
Does anyone know how faithful the new bubble shape is to the original?

scored my first ever 50 with one of the original bubbles and I am mega tempted!!!  Need somewhere to go have a feel at one of them to see what the pick up is like.

I'm not a huge fan of the pick up on the new bubbles. Feel heavy.

I think it's just the grip though, mate. At Jake's suggestion I swapped mine over for a Kook players' grip I had lying around and it's transformed the pick-up. It does seem rather counter-intuitive that a lighter grip would make the bat pick up better but there you go!

Not that I'm the best judge! :D

Most seem to be about 2.11 or. 2.12 but I managed to get one at 2.10 dead on and pick up is very nice not to mention the things flys as well.

Best retro bat in my opinion.

the impulse hurricanes seem very cheap, whats the catch?

are they a different profile to the other impulses?

These are same shape as impulse bats, these are on equivalent to impulse 450. Retailers who are part of a buying group are only offered these at special price. I hope this answers ur question
