Never use a new bat in nets, does nothing but ruin it.

There is always one prize idiot steaming in with a rock purchased from ebay.

Better off using an old bat or buying a cheapish one to use indoors.

Ive got three bats, two I keep for matches and one I use in nets.

My club nets are good for using any bats - they have a bag of balls which are all decent quality and no nnew ones.
Therefore bats are safe from bat breakers!!
I have 3 or 4 heavier bats varying from 2'12-3lb, so I try to use a heavier bat in the nets. At the moment I am using a H4L Hattori which is around 2'12/13 and it's geing seriously well!!  :o
But 2 weeks before the first match I will start to use my 2'10 match bat, so that I get the opportunity to get used to it again before match day.
