hi all

Recently bought a bubble legend bat and after knocking it in there is a small crack on the edge I cant post a picture at the minute as im at work but I was just wondering if its anything to worry about ? its level with the legend bat sticker on the outside edge for a right hander just wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do ive spoke to the shop I bought it from and they said if it worsens then I can take it back but if possible id like to avoid that any ideas ? I normally leave these.
You can water down PVA glue and fill it and then tape it.

Did you run the edge over the side of the bath/sink? That's a good start and then 45 degree tapping gently to finish.

Good bats do very often crack so I wouldn't worry.

You are about to get a few different choices and opinions. Go with what you feel most comfortable with and enjoy it.

P.S If you use the middle it won't get worse!

These are compression cracks and happen on almost every bat that gets knocked in the only thing you can really do to protect it is to fit an anti-scuff/ fibre sheet and/or edge tape

All good quality bats should develop small cracks. I would gently tap with a mallet in  a downwards movement allowing the  mallet  to slide off the edge this should then compress the crack.
