Great value range footwear from Kookaburra
« on: March 13, 2014, 12:59:56 PM »

Kookaburra have launched a range of new footwear for the 2014 season. Priced as follows, we feel they offer great value and good looks too.

Kookaburra Pro 500 Spike Senior £33.99
Kookaburra Pro 500 Spike Junior £29.99

Kookaburra Pro 300 Rubber Senior £26.99
Kookaburra Pro 300 Junior £22.99

Initial feedback from customers that have tried them on, has been really good.

They are definitely great value, so we have decided to stock them too.  However, I still don't understand why any cricket shoes would be made without a spike at the front to mark your guard when batting! New Balance have done the same with their shoes for this year.  Schoolboy error in my opinion!

Wouldn't want to.  Have only ever done it with my spike.  I know I am not alone here too.

Haha,

If it's a nice hard track within a drought. I prfer to bat in my non spikes. I tend to just use the outside of the boot at a 45degree handle to mark my guard.

Granted it's easier with a spike, but never been an issue

I've always done it with the spike under the ball of my foot, maybe that's down to needing some extra weight on the rock hard pitches of Glasgow!

They won't catch us this time! Not this time! They haven't spotted us! No, they're all snoring in their bunks! Or, you know what? They're drinking at the bar, celebrating our sinking! Not yet, my friends. Not yet!

Turn your foot at an angle and scrape?

We've just had another delivery, so all sizes are available at the moment, apart from 11 in the full spikes.

I like those. Might have to invest in a pair before the season starts.

Not usually a fan of the lower end of spikes GM/GN/Kook etc but the pro 500's look very nice! Shame I picked up a pair of brand new Evospeeds for £20 in the Gregg Chappell sale....

Yeah, VKS Sports is great site, which is providing cricket shoes at very discount prices. I am regular buyer of VKS Sports. Yes, I have bought ‘Kookaburra Pro 500 Spike Senior’ for my cousin on last month, which are very useful.
