Not sure that is true... In the Batoff with many a SAF, the Hades came 3rd out of 11 bats. Following using one at the Batoff, I had one made. Not sure anyone commented about how long the middle was though. When I've used it, I've found it to have a middle of excellent proportions.

Wasn't it two made?

??? I had a SAF custom that came bottom of the Batoff where the first Hades performed well (think it was overpressed), so I asked for a Hades as the replacement. I was very pleased with it!

Most well balanced bats will have the same length of middle. The limiting factors being the splice and the toe. If somebody does a Zona then I could see the middle being shorter in length.

That said I had a Dukes Pro Century (Jumbo lookalike) that pinged from toe to splice but that could fading memories  :D
