pro's breaking their bats

somerset ccc posted this picture with the caption. quite impressed with the way compton broke his

The boys had a NatWest T20 Blast warm up session today.
Let's just say the bats didn't like it as Compo, Lewis G and Kiesy killed theirs!

Good effort by Compton that!

As for the GM, cut the toe down, longer handle and it's a T20 bat!

Unless there's a huge crack on the face of it I'd still use that GM even without cutting the toe down  :D wouldn't exactly call it broken.

One of my mates has an old Powerbow that's had a corner of the toe missing for about 3 seasons. It looks odd but the "break" hasn't got any worse.

Then again if I got all my bats free I'd get through 2 or 3 a week probably  :-[
