Looking to arrange a few Sunday friendlies this summer for Dringhouses CC (based in the historic City of York about 400 yards from the race course). Also willing to travel upto around 30 miles.
On Sundays we put out a very mixed side including a couple of 1st XI players but mostly made up 2nd XI, junior players and also a lad with autism/cerebral palsy who absolutely loves his cricket. My ethos is that Sunday cricket is all about standing back and giving those who are usually on the periphery on Saturdays, a chance to shine instead.
The format of Sunday friendly matches we usually play are: are 2pm start, 40 overs per side, 8 overs per bowler with sometimes the option of batsmen retiring at 50.
