My club said they would sign my transfer form in 2 days, which is wednesday.

"The completed transfer should be returned, by post to the registration Secretary of the league, 48 hours before the player is eligible to play in a match"

Is this possible for me ? if i want to play on saturday ?
 If it gets sent in post on wednesday evening or thursday morning, what is the likelhood of me eligible to play on that saturday ?

No you won't be able to play Saturday realistically. Thursday is 48 hours before the deadline, so if it's posted Wednesday evening you've only got a very slim chance of it arriving. Probably eat to write a week off while the paperwork goes through tbh mate.
Might be why your club put off signing the transfer form.

P.s this is my understanding of the limited info you have given, so I may be totally wrong.

Scan and email to secretary as soon as you get it. He/She may be able to use personal discretion.

I know and post it anyway but if you scan or fax it the secretary may take your eord word for it and allow you to play. Give the sec a call what have you got to lose.
We have sent registration form late a few times and our sec was happy with fax or email confirmation.

Not that I agree with it but just do like 98% of other teams would do.. Play under a different name for one game. Unfortunately you see it very often, and more often with certain teams.

Guessing you have a smart phone, just take a picture.
If the sec is on holiday contact someone else in the exec committee.

If you are any good then don't risk it as opposition will remember any outstanding performances, especially if you win and you will end up putting your whole season at risk.
