I've got some knocking in to do!

Latest bit of willow to knock in! Not mine sadly.

This is a trial run to see in my (still unnamed) brand will provide a knocking in service when it goes live.

The guinea pig - a brand new Powerspot, 2lb10 dead with 2 grips (I guessed 2lb10.5 if that's a guide on pickup!)

Almost seems a shame to start hitting her with a mallet!

Tell me about it! I've had my Salix now for a week and somewhat reluctantly oiled her for the first time today (ohh err!) in readiness for knocking in. Already the willow has darkened a little and now somehow it's not "new" if you know what I mean!
