Large Mens Batting Pads
« on: August 05, 2014, 04:06:59 PM »

Hey guys,

I'm struggling to find some top quality large mens batting pads. I've had a look in the usual places but can't seem to find anything.
I'm 6'3 and have previously felt that normal mens pads are on the small side and have preferred large mens. I've currently got some Salix large mens one's which are perfect size for me.

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has any recommendations for large mens batting pads. May just go back with Salix ones as I know they are the right size, but have just bought some new SF bat and gloves, and wanted to keep all the same brand, but looks like SF only do normal mens? Aslong as the pads are as white as possible with no real bright trims then the better.

Cheers
Mat

We have some of the new SS Ton Test Opener's in stock in Large Mens. Top level protection and lightweight too at £59.99. All the details are on our website. All the VKS ones are pretty subtle with the branding too and all are available in Large Mens.

Thanks guys, I will be looking into these for sure. Do you think the offer will be on at the end of next week VKS? Im away as of the weekend so I've got to keep myself plenty of travel money. Going amsterdam, so you know! haha!

I'm not a fan of Gray Nic's gear, I liked it 5 years ago or so but it just looks a bit meh to me now. Same with puma in recent years.
Thanks for the options though guys.

Feel your pain. At 6'2 I'm just about too big for regular pads but some of the OSM's don't fit well either. I use OSM Kookaburra Kahunas, well worth a look.

Nice one dude, will check them out also. Worse case scenario I can cover up the logos.

Exactly mate, or remove them. Mine are the Kahuna RP's from a few years back with the little silver slivers (2009?) and they fit me nicely.
