MB Maliks
« on: November 03, 2009, 09:05:02 PM »

I have some good contacts with MB Maliks in the UK and have the opportunity to set something up with them selling their kit to the UK market over the web.

I know there are a lot of fakes on ebay, so I am debating whether to give it a whirl or sit tight.

The new Bubba Sher looks amazing (its the biggest profile I have ever seen) and it could be a decent opportunity.

What do you guys think?

GO FOR IT as long as you get the decent looking softs. sometimes the malik softs are too colourful and then look ugly. im sure you will sell some, especially on the forums etc

I might set it up just so I could sponsor Musama and help him shift that Dukes stuff. Thing is, they DO make a good ball!

Interested to hear about your Malik distribution - is this through Javeed or Zulfiqar? Whats the best price you can do on the new bubber sher gloves?

STOP DISSING DUKES! They are awesome. If you don't like dukes, then you wont like SS, Newbery etc because its all made by the same people!

Sorry about the Bubba Sher gloves. I don't know yet, I don't know much about the softs at all to be honest yet, I popped in on my way back from work last week and got talking about some kind of web presence. I just wanted some of your opinions on the gear, especially given the amount of fake gear/ stickers going around for Maliks.

for example, how much would people be willing to pay for a top of the range Bubba Sher bat?

i always do - my track record is awful. Before choosing Dukes, I bought Kookaburra Kahunas, Adidas Pros and then Kookaburra Sub Zeros! Clearly shows how indecisive I am!

knowing how good and consisten malik shers/bubber shers are, I would be quite happy to part with around 150 for it. I think Armie, on CSF sells these ones for 130ish

dukes were better value for money, pound for pound, whatever you want to call it. For me it is always about the money, and then the product  ;D
