I have a broken L&W bat used for 6-7 months and I am not even a hard hitter of the ball. Maximum I scored this summer was 40 runs and avg around 20's. Reserve Edition and the sweet spot is mid to low. Those guys will be providing me a free repair but I feel I should ask for a replacement since its a reserve edition bat. Please let me know your comments. I have attached a phe broken bat.broken bat.

Your getting a free repair, not to bad as you've had it for 6-7 months in my book (willow is a natural product after all) - grade has no real bearing on whether you should get a replacement or not.

You often find higher end bats break more easily due to softer pressing when compared to the heavier pressing that goes on with lower end bats.

Willow is a natural product and you cannot pick when one might break.

Have you smeared this bat in peanut butter? Looks very glossy.

I think youve done well getting a refurb out of them.

Hard to tell based on one pic, but a repair seems to be fair, within 12 month warranty. Obviously, if it's split right through, then it might be a different story. Looks like you've toe ended a full blooded shot or tried to hit a yorker...
