End of season oiling and scuff sheet
« on: August 31, 2014, 10:20:17 PM »

I am getting ready for my end of season oiling of my bats. Almost all the bats have scuff sheets on them. There is no visible damage or cracks on the face of the bats. Is it necessary to remove the scuff sheet and oil the front of the bat? Or, can I get away with just oiling the exposed wood only?

Wouldn't of thought you'd have to remove the scuff sheet as that retains its moisture I think?
