Salix pod finite cleft. This is a cleft that was set aside as a finite but had very slight pressing cracks at the toe so unfortunately became a factory 2nds that I was able to use. I have had trouble with my wrists this season and really get on better with lighter bats around 2.7/2.8. As a finite cleft this is a low density cleft and finished weight is 2.79 with 39mm edge.

Performance is superb, softly pressed will need a bit of knocking over the winter nets but this along with my torque is ideal weight for me.

This bat was shaped my Andrew but finished by myself, final sand and polished.

Looks very nice, have you got a shot of the pressing crack at the toe? I personally thought it would have been a Players grade, almost perfect but not quite, but looks lovely and very clean! How much did this cost you as a factory seconds? Hopefully it helps you get some runs next season, and is easier on the wrist! :)

Looks like a beauty! Very lucky to have a top cleft have a pressing crack, and therefore offered as a second!
My Pod Players (was pre finite grade) is firing so well now! AK initialed the bat so I know it was always going to ping.....but the middle on it is getting better and better (if that's possible!)
Hope yours plays equally well fella!  :D

I'll post one later mate.

I still work at Salix part time mate so this is for me to use over winter nets etc to save me using 2 match Salix bats.
