Yes and pretty especially if you give them some measurements.
@Butterfingerz will be able to help more

Hi all and thanks Buzz.

Please send a photo from side on, this will need to be at bat level to ensure there is no foreshortening of the image as this will stop me getting the height of the spine and edges correct, also a photo from the toe going up the bat so I can get the con-caving right.

I am sceptical as to whether the bats would pick up the same. But I would love to be proved wrong.

On the basis that every handle is different and every piece of timber is different then the pick up will almost certainly be different.
But that isn't what bat mapping is for it is for matching the shape and middle position of the bat.
B3 can estimate what weight of cleft will give the bat the closest weight to the original bat too.

@rsh107 , if you are serious about getting the bat copied, it would be better to send the details to B3 @Butterfingerz a bit early. There would usually be modifications to the initial drawings and this will take time.

Great!  Just what a cricketer needs!

This thread talks about exactly what you're looking for. I had them map and reproduce a 1st edition Powerbbw into a long blade: http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=32029.0
