GN F18 and Matrix
« on: July 08, 2014, 07:32:57 AM »

Spotted the F18 and Matrix on GN's Aus Website and was wondering if both models will be available in the UK for 2015?

I'm heading over there in September and wanted to know if it was worth leaving some bat shaped spaces in my suitcase! ;)

Thanks, I've noticed a few retailers were meant to be seeing the range soon so will keep an eye out for any updates.

Current prices coverted are similar to UK prices but I'm not sure if I can 'sneak' these back in my suitcase without incurring the wrath of customs?..

In Aus at the moment and went to GCCC the other day. Love the Matrix and F18's they had in. Even the lower end Matrix 700 looked great.

Picked up a pair of the new Powerbow gloves which feel superb and would put a Matrix in the case if I wasn't coming back via the U.S.  Will most likely end up importing one before the start of next season as I can't resist it   ;)

Also have the new catalogue if anyone wants pics of the new ranges.

Got to agree, the F18 and Matrix are so meaty, but their pickup is very good.

I'm not so sure the F18 will be everyone's cup of tea as it does not feel like its will have enough meat behind the front foot drive.

The Matrix on the other hand is very good and the weight more evenly distributed to the shoulders and toe.

F18 middle looks very high. Too high for most?

Matrix looks chunky, I reckon it'll sell tonnes, more than the powerbow the other low middle bat.

As an aggressive opener it would be great for the short stuff, but walk out on a low and slow deck and you'll have to wait for the lose ball.
