Refurbished AJK
« on: October 03, 2014, 08:15:16 PM »

After two seasons of regular use in nets and games, it felt about time to treat my trusted AJK to an end of season refurbishment. This year the bat has really started to come into its own. With a great middle that has given me the confidence again at the batting crease. I would now put it up there with my Screaming Cat which, was a real beauty and is still sorely missed.

On September 2nd I sent the bat off to Salix for a refurbishment and a general check over.

You'll see that I also asked for different stickers this time, as I really like the more simplistic option that they offer this year.

A month later and here's what arrived yesterday. Very pleased with the clean up job and I can't wait to use it again in the nets. Roll on February :)

As I expected the toe also needed a bit of a repair :(

Very impressive work.  I hope it scores you many more runs!

Nice refurb on that...worth the money. Looks brand new.

That's a sexy looking bat - and I agree with you, the new stickers look good.
