Tim Phillips Retirement
« on: October 01, 2014, 01:03:08 PM »

Can't imagine many people give a hoot about it, but as an Essex fan, i'm quite sad about this. He's been a very good performer in Limited Overs Cricket for us and tbh, I was thinking the other day, having looked at the numbers and his versatility as a bowler and player in general, surprised he didn't get a call up for any England T20 squads, seeing as they like to give lots of people hope with their large World Cup squads.

All this after we let Tom Craddock leave as well!

Mills is also leaving. Not sure if you'll find that a big loss but he can be dangerous if he got some consistency into his bowling

Just seen that one! Goddammit!

Huge loss to us, he's going to be a world beater that kid.
