« on: August 24, 2014, 04:15:18 AM »

Hi guys
I am trying to work out if I should buy a remfry or fox arm guard.
If any one owns either could you please give me your opinion.

Don't know about Remfry but if you send George your measurements you get one that fits.

I love Foxy's work, but would buy a £10 GM or similar one personally.

I've used an Adidas one and a foxy one.

Adidas one was light but didn't really mould to my arm so was always a bit flappy, but excellent value for £8. Offered more than enough protection.

Foxy one is host as light, slightly thinner and moulded perfectly to my arm. Protection is even better, you only know you've been hit because you hear it hit you!

honestly think that wearing an arm guard makes one look somewhat classier?

I got hit on the elbow once. Once was enough, wont bat without one now. Usually use a cheapo Puma jobbie had a GM in the past both were cheap ok and did the job, have just ordered an Aero to see what thats like

Oh while we're talking about arm guards!

I stupidly sold all my stretton fox stuff as I was short of money, and have replaced the arm guard with a £3 job from eclipse all sports.
Postage was £4 but I ordered some grips and a bat care kit too so it was worth it, for the money it's great! Not up to Strettons standard but at a 20th of the price in pleased and would recommend them to anyone wanting a cheap arm guard.
