IPL Sacking Day
« on: December 15, 2014, 07:40:06 PM »

Plenty of Franchises are cutting the expensive stars, in the hope of re-purchasing at lower prices:-

New economics in action?

Saw KP was released today but seem to remember it happened with Delhi before. He brings quite a big fan base and is popular in India but coming off of a lean spell you do wonder if his value will drop in the next auction.

Speaking of which when is the next auction?

I think many franchises are doing the same thing. Probably realise that very few individuals are worth serious money and they are going to improve the depth of the team instead of relying on a few match winners.
