Assegai 3*
« on: February 08, 2015, 07:40:17 PM »

Evening,

Just wanna thank Gary for letting me pop over earlier today and hand pick my new 3* assegai, picked a gem out of the options available.
Think my one weighed 2.10, and would go up once I fully dressed her, and had around 38mm edges
Gary has some serious bats available as well, including a stunning 18/19 grain assegai 5* SH LB, which is an absolute gun!
Have a few pictures, and will post better ones when I pick the bat up this week along with my Shrey.

Cheers again Gary

You really can't knock the value / quality. I've got a team mates 2014 LE at the minute for a refurb and it's absolutely huge for 2.10/11.

Out of interest on Gary's stock are they all rounded toes or are there any squares?

Wow, £100, not much concaving at all, and it looks as good as many G1s. What a buy, hope it plays as well as it looks! :)

Evening chaps,

Just a continuation on from this. Having collected my bat yesterday and my Shrey.
I was unbelieveably impressed by the stick last night, used it in nets and it goes like a train. I am over the moon with it. And having it pre knocked in was a bonus!
A lot of the boys at nets also thought it looked more like a £150 plus bat which makes me feel good!
Gary's service has been spot on from first speaking to him and all the way through the sale of the bat. Will certainly be using him again for gear.

Have a few more pictures of the bat anyway!

That's one hell of a good-looking 3* bit of willow. Cracking purchase, Grommit!
