Recently, I won a reasonable amount of money on the football and as I have been a good boy this year, I decided to treat myself to a L&W. I have always wanted one and decided to get in touch.
I found their service to be very helpful - having a few email conversations with James about what I wanted. For the first time in a long time, looks actually fell behind size and performance. I did not want to pay £300+ on a bat which looked amazing but played no better than a piece of 2 by 4.
James said he has an experimental shape which he had been working on. What I got was a low middle, zero-concaving and a pick up that a twig would be jealous of! It has 41mm edges, 67mm spine, Oval handle and weighs 2'8!! The balance is just incredible for a low middle bat!

And they have also oiled/waxed/knocked it in and lamitoed it free of charge. James has also offered a guarantee that if this bat puts on weight, I can return it.
Overall, a great service and superb workmanship - though, what else would you expect from L&W!
