Anyone else expect the honeycomb to be longer than an inch?

I always thought that the honeycomb was only in the top part of the handle, as they had mentioned that the resin used and the honeycomb at the top of the handle acted as a counterbalance, since it is more dense. Also thought that they wanted to keep it to 10% other materials that aren't in your conventional handle, so always assumed it to be like that. Could be wrong though, but they certainly do feel stiffer than normal handles!

I asked them how far the honeycomb went down when i ordered mine and they said 1-2 inches which looks about the distance on the photo. It is supposed to be a counter balance at the top of the handle.

a more telling examination would be for Jason to weigh the top part compared to a 'normal' piece of the same size.

When ordering my laver I didn't look into it to much. So not up on it to be honest.

even i thought that the honey comb went all the way for the length of the handle. I guess Jason's FB post did help clear that.

Seeing the reply from l&w on fb seems to make sense. Basically the resin soaks down the cane handle. From the pics above you can see the black dots where it appears to have done this. Whether it works or not is another matter, I don't know.
As always you should seek information from suppliers or retailers before calling bs on their products.

100%. It could be said Hammer bats are made in Taiwan. They aren't but it could be said
