I've tried countless helmets over the time I've been playing, my personal recommendation is to go with either an Albion or a Masuri.

I think Shrey also do a £50 model which appears to be good value.

If you're set on something that meets the new safety regulations the GN helmet seems to be getting high praise.

The new Gray-Nicolls Atomic at £37.99 would be a good option.

Available in 2 adult sizes (small/medium and large/xlarge) along with a dial at the back to give a better fit, the Atomic is one of most comfortable helmets at the moment and is selling better than the more expensive Test Opener model.

I've had a gray-nicolls helmet before and got on with it fine. Hadn't seen them on the couple of websites I'd looked at. I'll have a look on the VKS website and could well be placing an order :)

As mentioned in another thread, Sports Direct (cough splutter) have a Masuri for £50ish, I've just been to their store in Bristol Cabot Circus and they had two in there. Some horrid looking planks too :-)
