Grill difference  is easy just the weight  really.

Masuri vs Ayrtek has been discussed  many time here and it really depends  on the person. I went from ayrtek to masuri elite to masuri  original. Some swear by ayrtek some by masuri.

You can't  go wrong with a masuri in my opinion. The new series is heavy but fits well and better air flow  I went back to original because  the grill was affecting  my vision but others have not had this problem.

I only used ayrtek for a couple of nets and just couldn't  get the fit right I also found it too heavy but again others dont have this issue.

go through some of the threads  already in helmet section.

  • If I only could bat....

I have a big head, and the masuri grill sits far too close to my chin for comfort. Not a problem with the Ayrtek, although I'm getting a bit fed up of people trying to push the ball through the gap between visor and grill at nets and then being surprised that it doesn't fit...

You can get a wee bit more sledging with an Ayrtek.  ;)

I've got 2 ayrteks and love them both. I have a large head and found these the most comfortable fit

That makes sense... but do you really feel the weight difference on your head ?

Having used both  steel and titanium on masuri, I don't  think you will see much difference  once on. It is more in the head, both  ayrtek and vision series are heavy helmets so even with titanium you are going to feel the weight. The level of protection  you need should be considered as well but comfort is paramount  in my humble  opinion.

Are you in uk?

If yes then order  both from one of stockists and keep what you like.

Picking this up again - is the vision on the Masuri and Ayrtek comparable ? is one clearly better than the other ?
