Proper Jumpers
« on: April 02, 2015, 01:26:20 PM »

Does anyone know where i can get a woolen cable knit jumper with the deep neck V and coloured trim? The same as the ones that Australia & Surrey use. (Sleeveless ideally)

Going to be freezing my nads off this year with an early start to friendly matches, and all I can find at the moment are either the polyester feeling knitted Slazenger / GM ones or those fabric ones that GN & Others are pedalling out now. Not a fan of either, and ideally need a new one after someone took a liking to my last jumper and pinched it at an away game!

Cheers,

Club Colours will do custom ones - I am not sure if you are saying you just want one. In which case you may need to call around to a few shops. Lords will do them, not sure about any of the forum sponsors.

In my experience the new GM ones are warmer than the woollen ones and they go in the washing machine... Normally I am a huge fan of traditional kit - however in this case, I have accepted that new is better.

I still prefer an old style cap mind...!

Can't beat a real wool jumper. Try these guys who are based in Bruton Somerset. They make them for Somerset and other counties / countries that use wool jumpers.

These are the ones that Buzz mentioned. - Don't Newbery do a traditional cable jumper?
