I wanted to update this thread as now I have had a chance to use this bat. Last weekend my team played the semi-final of our T20 cup and I went in to open the batting, old fashioned biffing up the order from a lower order batsman, I didn't last long but every ball I connected went like a rocket. I can't imagine what this bat would have been like had the stain been in the playing area because I got caught at long on trying to just chip the ball over a inner circle fielder and it hit high on the face right where the stain is. For a few moments I just stood there thinking how the hell did it travel so far, then I walked off half sad and half smiling  :-[

Have a 40 over game tomorrow and I am in real dilemma as to which bat to use!! Plan was to use BBB in semi and RPC in final of the T20 cup, we didn't make it to the final, but now I want to use the RPC in the game yet my heart tells me BBB deserves another outing. Maybe that's the motivation I need to play a long inning so I can use both bats for a decent amount of time.

Even without the butterfly stain this is an incredible shape and responds amazingly, pick-up felt bottom heavy in non-match situations but in the game it was just like any other bat I even managed to play a pull (a shot which I never play) instead of ducking out of the way or upper cutting.

Thank BB guys, very happy with this bat

Hey Tushar, I reckon that's a good problem to have. And the bat looks terrific...love the profile :)

Good luck for your game tomorrow. Bat long and enjoy your bat(ting)!!!

it remains as good a bat as I have ever had... it will be getting a whole load of use next season when I start playing again after a child induced sabbatical from playing this summer!

@Blank Bats right up there with the best mate :), I never ended up using my RPC because of this bat which speaks a lot about the quality of this one :). This and RPC are the only bats in my kit now, rest are either  sold or sitting in a bag somewhere to get rid off. Four BB bats now, every single one has been a cracking bat, first one (Scat shape) is now with @tejasapatel and he loves it, 2nd one for an aussie mate is still going strong and hitting massive shots, 3rd one with a pressing crack lasted a full season in league bat kit (used by 4 teams) and everyone was sad when it went.
