newbery test gloves and fielding pads
« on: April 09, 2015, 09:42:04 PM »

has anybody used the 2015 version? i will most likely be ordering the pads as i have sold the ones i previously had. I like the idea of having matching gloves but not sure if i'll buy them.

any thoughts are welcome. or if any of the sponsors have the pair at a decent price let me know.

How tall are you? I found the fielding pads came up too small, and it's only in one size

I didn't use the old ones but these new ones are good, and since the you had the old ones I don't think that size would be a problem as it is with most people.

the only issue I have with them is if I wear them under my pants they start to itch. And I feel stupid wearing them on top so now I'm back to my old keeping pads till I work something out

@XBastaki have you tried full length skinz (other brands are available) to prevent the itching?
Or really long socks so the pads aren't in direct contact with your legs?
