How did you get on yesterday with your scrambled side?

  • If I only could bat....

We needed 22 off the last over, and unfortunately failed to get it, mainly because one of the batsmen decided he'd swap positions with his mate, who it turned out, wasn't quite such a good bat, so they bowled outside off stump and he couldn't hit it.

We kept the opposition to a respectable and chaseable score. Unfortunately, our number four decided to play a test match innings and the result was the run rate piled up. It all looked a bit like England batting.

Went away with four rather than eight points, but given we started the day with two players, I'll take that.

How did you go?

We got a decent win by 60 odd runs. After my terrible performance last week I was dropped down to 7 in the order, we had a pretty decent batting line up to be fair though. Kept wicket well, a catch a stumping and a run out assist. Much nicer feeling having a win under the belt than our abysmal showing last week!

Ah, you're an Isotope. GG Part Deux are pretty rubbish, we chased them down inside the 16 overs last week. I'm guessing you were out Caught last night...

See you've got London Exeter next week. I think it will be a close game, but you will probably beat them. They are savvy on the bowling front though.

We have Royal Rampage next week, who have in the past, been tripe. Wonder if that's changed?

Yeah I managed to nick a wide one with the toe of my bat off the penultimate ball, was looking forward to facing the last ball for a home run too! Yeah they were very average. We have Royal Rampage the week after you, you'll have to take notes and pass them on!
