Spiked up trainers
« on: May 03, 2015, 09:25:06 AM »

Had these delivered to Jake about a week or so ago and was with the family in Centreparcs last week in Woburn so when Jake let me know they were in i managed to convince the wife for a trip up to Peterborough to pick them up. Was nice to finally get up and see Jake's setup (whilst also picking up a few bits for me and some new spikes for a mate).

Here are the trainers, wore them yesterday and they are really comfy. I'm really pleased with them, thanks Jake!

Pimp my ride! Very nice but would hate to drop a dolly wearing those!

Ha yeah, even Jake thought they were a bit jazzy. Remarkably didn't get any abuse for them yesterday which was surprising. Even after charging the spinner missing it and getting stumped whilst I lay on the floor like a right prat

Fair play to you! They would look great in a Mumbai Indians kit!

Not quite as out there as my blue and pink Nikes, but i won't be donning those in red ball cricket, so fair play to you mate!

I guess the 9.5's were ok for your friend?

Jake out of interest, how does this work? Do I buy a pair of trainers and send them to you for example?

I'm increasingly interested as my Adidas 22yds squeak against everything and they are driving me nuts!

Yes mate forgot to say. He wore them (and the socks I got from you for him) on Saturday and he took 5-19. Safe to say he's pleased with them!

I got mine sent direct to Jake from sportsshoes.com to save on me sending them to Jake and costing me £5-7.

Sports shoes do price matching so I got the above asics for £74 when they cost me £110 for a pair from blue water in he runs she runs when I bought them as running shoes. They seem to have some decent offers on and can pick up some decent running shoes from them
