My New Custom X2
« on: April 29, 2015, 01:14:44 PM »

So i have been lingering on here for a while now and figured id wait for the right moment to make my first thread. What better way to start than with my new Red ink custom X2. I needed a net/replacement bat for my Scat so i sent john some pictures with measurements (no clue how he managed, i thought i was all over the place with em) and somehow he was able to put it all together and get me exactly what i wanted. The profile is pretty much spot on, the ping is amazing and it hasnt even been knocked in, but the thing that impressed me the most was the finish. I cannot say how beautiful this thing looks in person, even though its a X2, john did not cut any corners and this thing could not be any more perfect. so without further ado here are the pics, ENJOY!

Welcome to the forum and great job with managing pictures of a bat bought from a sponsor in your first thread.

As for Red Ink, I personally do not own one but have only heard good things about the service, quality and bargain prices.

She doesn't look a big bat, what are the specs? Also I'm liking the offset sweetspot  :)

It's a decent sized bat, Moderate edges and good sized spine. No concaving on it at all. I'd say it's a pretty good size based on that. Not all about having massive edges and concaving to give the appearance of a big bat.

in person it looks much bigger, as john mentioned it could be due to it being pretty flat. One thing that i know is that this thing pings everywhere just like the scat which is perfect as i play on a combination of quick/bouncy and low/slow pitches.

Looks great. Am I the only one who's slightly disappointed when some says they have a red ink x2 and we only get to see one bat?
