@WalkingWicket37 are the TON fibleglass tape any good?

No idea as I've not taken any out the packet yet! I will probably find out at some point in the next couple of weeks.

That looks like the TON Gutsy posted by OLS on their FB page.. are cricmart.in and OLS related?

Not that I am aware of, I was told that Cricmart are a distributor for SS so I guess that means they get first dibs on the decent willow!

Yes they do, they sent me several pictures and the weights of the various Master 1000s they had in stock and let me chose which one I wanted, and when  asked for "Light bats you have in stock" they sent me pictures of the Gutsy.

Before I bought my Master 7000 from them they sent me pics of several in my weight and a couple from other ranges at similar prices, including a beautiful Maximus but it was just outside of my budget.

Just make sure you bear postage costs in mind - circa £25 for a bat - which is pretty high but that does mean quick delivery which is tracked.

Might consider the SS Master 1000 as a net bat - for 115 inc postage sounds like a steal. Hows the ping on the Master by the way @WalkingWicket37?

@MrCricket321
I've just tapped up some old balls and she makes a lovely noise, not the tinny sound some new bats make but a nice deep woody sound on hitting the ball.

I then used a mallet and toe is dead (aren't all bats) up to where my thumb is, where the mallet came off right up to where the Master sticker is. This area isn't all middle by any means, but it's certainly a generous sweet spot  :D

This bundle arrived with me today and first impressions are excellent t especially the tournament gloves for £12. Nothing about them seems cheap although no reinforced finger protection like the super test gloves.

Bat has the duck bill toe and little concaving and although only 2.9 she is a big bat will share more pics when I get the chance.

Thanks to Cam for helping me get hold of this little lot, let's hope now my season is due to start properly this weekend all my SS kit gets me some runs (although got a few pieces of willow in reserve :))
