looking for a batting coach in nw Kent
« on: July 14, 2016, 01:54:31 PM »

1st post and I'm already asking for something  :D
I'm returning to the game I love after a very long hiatus...my last bat was a 333 test selection  ;) but before I inflict myself on some poor, unsuspecting team, I would like some coaching to see if I'm just kidding myself or if I can still play.
I've tried emailing Invicta cricket coaching, but had no response as yet :(
are there any other options in my area do we know?

Haha I used to live there. You don't play for Sherwood by any chance? Had many happy years playing for them back in the 80s & 90s.

Sherwood have a good amount of teams for you to find your level, I can give you the number of one of their players for more details if you wish

My friend plays Kent prem and is ex Kent 2s academy and does coaching but he is based in ashford which is a trek for you but thought I would throw it out there. From my own experience of looking for a coach in Kent it was pretty tough. I know a few other people from Hartley country club who are coaches who might be able to help. If not try a club like upchurch who play quite high in the Kent league and are close to you who might have coaches who are up for 121 sessions

Upchurch have some good coaches they use to have Adam hoder who was a level three coach and very easy to get on with
