I'm not sure what I changed, but years ago, I was dreadful against balls aimed at my pads.
Now it's a free hit for me, and one of my strongest areas.

I remember a guy I used to work with who was a very good batter,(Nigel pickles, earby cc) trying to get me to slow it down and not try to hit it too hard
It must have sunk in somehow, to the point where I now bat on off stick and like I said, look at it as a safe area to score.
I think the main thing is to watch the ball onto the bat and don't look to hit it too hard

I used to be there, anything on leg/going down I could not hit for the life of me. I still am to an extent but I think there is a slight improvement what would I put it down to?? I think I used to play the ball too early in general. Waiting for it to arrive and being more watchful has helped me improve I think the angle of the bat coming down and the pace on the ball sometimes results in a nice leg side shot even if it wasn't exactly what you intended...

So if you're struggling remind yourself to watch the ball, get bat on ball and sometimes the rest happens naturally.

(PS I've been given out LBW in 3 of my last 4 innings so take any advice from me with a pinch of salt:)
