my subject fields are never very interesting but i hope that you find the short review of my new bat an interesting one.
Right, so to start with i just purchased this so the review on ping test will not be very thorough but i will try my best
Shape
This was one of the main reasons i went for the GM Mogul, it has a lovely shape and is in the players style shape which i like, she has a mid middle which will be good for all round play as probably all of you will know, the bat is not fully concaved but is not fully convex either so gives a beautifully light pickup and also gives the bat a good ping from edge to edge. Wood has been taken out of the shoulders and toe an is put into a concentrated sweet spot which gives good response off the mallet, which leads me onto my next point
Ping
obviously because this is a brand new bat it has not opened up yet but still the ping is good, the sweet spot is long and ranges from just under the stickers to just under the gm dxm sticker on the side so is a long mid middle. This bat is an original le in short handle and i expect after a good season she will open up really nicely
Weight
She weighs in at 2:9 and a 1/4 but picks up really well around the 2:8 mark. this is good for a bat that has 39 mm edges and a 58mm spine
I can't wait to use her in my first game and hope that my review has interested you and gave you some good info on the bat
