Here's my understanding of GM grading
Original limited Edition the very best seasoned grade 1 willows selected on grains
Original Superior unbleached  grade 1 willow with straight grains with  an hint of colour
The main difference  is the look of the bats.

Gm make quality bats, take your kid to a cricket specialist shop, like our sponsors and get him to choose a bat then you leave less to chance.

13 is quite young for a full size bat, is he very tall for his age?

We're a GM 5 Star Dealer and have 909's as well as Original LE's in the Mogul, Aura, Sigma, Octane and Six 6 Ranges. Ideally if is 13 then we should be looking for one that is as light as possible.

If you need any help, please feel free to PM.

I got a Six6 606 from Vinay that weighed less than 2lb7!
I can definitely vouch for the quality of service and products

GM grading seems a bit hit and miss to me in the last couple of years.
I have seen some very poor Original LEs and some fantastic 909s.
The most important thing is to wave different bats around and see which feels best.

I Use a GM , and all I would say is make sure you purchase well in advance of the season as they take a while to open up

Gm takes some time to open up but once it does the ball rockets out.
