Rogers also went from a shrey with a masuri stemguard on to the new masuri.

Clarke from old masuri to new masuri.

Pretty sure the Rogers incident(coupled to the loss of Phil Hughes) has a lot to do with it.

Totally understandable really! Maybe that's why everyone is batting so badly...

You can see why, if a Shrey comes in at 700 something grams, the extra weight in the Mas must = better protection?

Pretty sure there is a sponsorship agreement in place.

Albion have been very quiet recently

Possibly worth mentioning that Cook's return to form coincides with him returning to his old GN lid from a new style one!

This sentence is ridiculous:

The skipper sat down with Bupa Support Team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris on the night of the first day of the Lord's Test to better understand the intricacies of the new design.

I mean, bloody hell. What is the world of sports entertainment coming to when the physio is sponsored? Is it some bloke's job at Cricket Australia to follow up on any reporting that doesn't mention their sponsors in the correct nomenclature?

Masuri have the official supplier sponsorship so I'm guessing they're insisting on the masuri lids.
