Has anyone used a Spartan MC bat, not really got any conclusive evidence either way to suggest whether they're good or bad and I am quite keen to know how people feel they perform.

SS Ton bats with shiny branding.
Most will be pretty decent.

I had a couple of the MCPlayer Editions. Nicely balanced, full profile and went really well. Unlike a lot of SS bats, they had a lovely oval handle. I was pleasantly surprised!

The only one I have used is a 3000 and it was very hard.... Bit of a plank it was

Spartan bats are just average once  ;)

Get TON(SS), BDM , GN , GM OR even Burra

I have tried those from my experience they are Great ;D

Get a SS TON you wont be disappointed...have got four sticks being knocked and all are impressive.
