I highly recommend my Salix Falx, best performing bat that I have used. Gorgeous bit of willow that no other brand has beaten so far. My Norfolk bat Butterfly runs it a close second and at £120, shows that more money doesn't guarantee performance.

Which was your favourite?
Aldred picks up the best. The H4L NV feels best in the hand and the Salix is the most beautiful. The Aldred has the highest middle, though performs well all over. The H4L has a slightly lower middle and the Salix has the lowest.
Any of these brands will provide you with an excellent bat. Appearance wise, the H4L is a little brash, the Salix and Aldred look classy. No-one round here has an Aldred, so that gives it extra qudos for me. Salix are expensive though and the same quality of willow can be found cheaper in other brands in my opinion.
