How is the bat treating you pal?

used it for a net session and got a crack on the edge so I spent another couple of hours on the mallet with it.. It's unusual in that the edges are soft and have really rolled a lot with the knocking but the middle has barely dented at all. Anyway, I opened with it last Sunday and took 20 off the first over, eventually out for 44 off 20. I hit a pull shot to a 65 meter boundary with a fielder only 5 meters away and he didn't get near it, it went that quickly! I might only get a season or less out of it but at my age (46), I just wanted to see what a bat like this was like before hanging up the gloves. Very impressive as I thought with the bat being 4 ounces heavier than I normally use, I would struggle with cuts and pulls but with the middle being so high, it was fine. I reckon I would struggle in a longer innings though. Overall, I'm rapt!

We got ours in store late last week, I have seen many many cricket bats in my time but these take the cake. They almost seem to big.
