Has anyone used TeamApp?
« on: November 25, 2015, 05:44:24 PM »

Hey all.

A Club with have links with in Australia has been using TeamApp and now we are thinking of using this as a way to know/improve availability and generally communicate better.

Has anyone on here used it?

Worth a go? Or not?

Many thanks

We do have a private group on Facebook, but not everyone in our club has Facebook, plus, this app has a lot of features that we are looking at, such as making payments through the app, and live scores.

My club uses it. Found it to be excellent as not everyone has Facebook, Whatsapp etc. Can post live score updates, club news, selection, stats and there's a chat room too. Well worth looking at!

We use something called Teamer - then you select your 11 players (plus reserves in order). The 11 players then get sent an email and or text (depending on which one they want), and reply with yes (can also have meet there, or travel together if an away game - not sure how that's set up). If someone says no, then immediately a reserve gets sent a notification.

Really good system if people use it and don't just ignore the message!

TeamApp is great. Like most communication things though it's only good when used regularly and often by all.

Available for both iOS and Android ? Our T20 league has a native app which works only for android version. So out team members resort to a closed facebook group for most of the team activities.

Club I'm at this season uses it heavily and it's actually really good to get updates from the other teams during the game, player availability as well as all club news. Have never administrated it so not sure how you publish to it, but it must be simple.

My club uses it.

I don't manage it but it is a good app whilst it looks from yesteryears. The availability feature is very good as it is well organized so is schedule/standings as it is linked to website. Live score updates are also good.

Overall a good app.
