Helmet for Nets
« on: October 20, 2015, 12:36:54 PM »

Hi,

I'm coming back to cricket after a break and am picking up some Ebay kit to kick me off. I have a bat, pads and gloves but as I will be doing some nets I guess I will need a helmet - its that long since I played we didn't use to wear them.

Would I be ok just picking something up second hand off ebay or can anyone recommend me something new thats not too expensive

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response.

Well I hate to say it but not too much.....I know its a safety thing so I shouldn't be cutting corners but this is purely to get me back in the nets to see how I get on.

In the event I take up playing again I will then look to invest in some more appropriate kit.

I'm open to offers!

Thanks

Weve got some the adult steel helmet on sale at £48.74 currently that's equivalent to 25% off the RRP if you were looking for something around the £50 marker.

You'll probably tell me this is a false economy but I wasn't planning on spending that much at this stage.

Now if things take off then yes I would look to spend more....but not to start.
