My first was a custom Solitaire, definitely heavier than requested but went like the clappers - was £100 for a G1, bargain.

First was with a Woodstock Tour De Force, still the best bat I have ever used. Pick up was an absolute dream and even with a 4-way crack in the toe, the ping is amazing.

96not out, (captain declared on me?)
A long long time ago , playing on a horrendous wicket, with huge boundaries and a just reachable river!
Still put it down as my best innings, and was first time out with a £25 second hand gray nicks that I will never part with,(it's  over 30yrs old and still pings ridiculously )

First ton, was with a grade two ACE,
