Test Match Cricket, No-Balls ........Arghhhn
« on: December 04, 2015, 12:20:04 AM »

I'm pretty sure it's not just me, so is anyone else beginning to get really peed off with umpires these days consistently checking for a No-Ball when a wicket falls to a fast bowler. They rarely give them in the game usually, but suddenly a wicket falls and they decide to check. On occasions some of them aren't even close to being a No-Balls,  so why have they checked if there wasn't any doubt. Makes me think they aren't even bothering to watch for it live anymore.

Just reminded me of it whilst watching the India south Africa highlights. Abbott picked up a wicket early doors but turned out to be a No-Balls.  Pretty unlucky he'd barely gone for a run, and looked to deserve the wicket,  then suddenly it's checked
