Didn't these bats have a blue grip back in the day? I think gold would look awful

It came with a white grip, which I think was the original but not 100% sure as there was tape over the binding so the grip must have come off to do that.

The writing on the stickers does look dark blue from some angles so a blue grip may work.

Looks nice i should deface my bat find out what presents its hiding for me. I would take a lot more pride in it doing it myself but i think it might need professional help!

Depends how confident you are with giving it a go and what level of finish you are after. This is only the 4th bat I have refurbed, I read up on the advice on here about how to do it and started with a cheaper stick in case it went wrong. Key thing is taking your time on each stage, and of course it is easier if you remove all stickers.

Many of the sponsors will do a great professional job for you especially if you want weight removed or new stickers. If you have one close to you then you can save on postage to keep the cost down
